A master in the art of dark magic and necromancy, the powerful Occultist can place curses of death upon anyone who dares challenge his might.

The Occultist was a personal project I had done to practice my video game model workflow. He is inspired by a combination of warlocks/necromancers from countless of my favourite RPG's. He was built last summer on my spare time while I was just learning Zbrush. The basemesh was built in Maya and he was later detailed in Zbrush. I polypainted him and exported the color/normal maps from Zbrush and touched them up in Photoshop. All of the screenshots were rendered using Mental Ray.
